]]>With the holiday season quickly approaching, we'd like to reflect back on this year at Multi Image Group. One of MIG's core beliefs is giving back to others, especially in times of need. This year was no exception; MIG has had the privilege of supporting several causes, including the Marine Toys for Tots Program and October Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We also focused on collecting supplies for non-profit organizations like the Lotus House Women's Shelter and Children's Home Society. We believe that offering volunteering opportunities to our employees empowers them to be change makers in their own communities.
MIG participates in the Toys for Tots drive every year collecting donations for those less fortunate in the community. Did you know since its inception 60 years ago, the program has distributed more than 313 million toys to 151 million children? And remember, no act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.
This past October, MIG hosted their annual Bake Sale in support of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. All donations raised from the sales benefited the Boca Raton Regional Hospital Foundation. MIG staff baked all kinds of treats and goodies for the bake sale and raised over $1,000 for the organization!
This summer, MIG participated in the Children's Home Society Back to School Drive. MIG was able to collectively donate several backpacks full of supplies like notebooks, pencils, markers, index cards, binders, folders, and glue sticks. We loved getting these thank you notes from the students!
MIG observed World Heritage Day with a company-wide potluck! All employees participated by bringing a dish that represented their culture and background. We are proud to celebrate our diverse culture and love for food at MIG. This special day also marked MIG's 39th Birthday!
Lotus House is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to improving the lives of homeless women and children by providing sanctuary support and resources. To help these women in need, MIG collected several large bins full of supplies, including diapers, car seats, toiletries, clothes, pots and pans. Thank you to all our MIG'sters for their support!
At the beginning of the year, MIG's local Boca Raton and Parkland community was faced with a devastating tragedy at Marjory Stoneman Douglass High School. With MSD students near and dear to our hearts, MIG immediately responded with a company wide school supply drive. We also designed a banner to encourage the students to be #MSDstrong
These social good based events are planned by M1G committee team members. Multi Image Group is proud to have such thoughtful and caring employees who make all of these events a huge success!

]]>Fellow MIG-sters gathered together to help raise awareness about important issues facing animals today. With the generous support of Justin Bartlett Animal Rescue (JBAR), a non-profit animal rescue organization, they brought their cutest puppies over to MIG to spread some love and cheer!
All puppies were available for adoption! The JBAR team was on-site to assist and answer any questions MIG-sters had about the adoption process and fostering animals.
MIG-sters happily donated much-needed items, including wet and dry puppy food, toys, treats, potty training pads, paper towels, and regular towels.
JBAR’s 100% volunteer staff is dedicated to reducing the number of homeless dogs and cats.
JBAR is the largest foster based rescue in the county, saving an average of a thousand animals each year. They are a valuable community resource in educating the public on the importance of pet adoption. As we looked at the sweet faces of our four-legged friends, JBAR helped us understand why spaying and neutering are so important and informed us of the great need for foster homes. Visit the Justin Bartlett Animal Rescue (JBAR) website to learn more about them, their mission, and how to get involved.

]]>February is a special month. National Heart Month, Black History Month, and Valentine’s Day are celebrations and remembrances that are shared experiences with family, friends, colleagues, community, and sometimes those we have yet to meet. They all have a common denominator – love. As human beings, we have an innate purpose of sharing love.
In light of this sentiment, Multi Image Group shared the love and the gift of life by holding a blood drive, in collaboration with OneBlood. A local not-for-profit 501(c)(3) community asset, their mission is to provide safe, available, and affordable blood to those in need. As a company, we actively offer a lending hand to fellow team members. We wanted to extend this gesture to our community, as we have done in the past, by holding a blood drive on-site on February 16th.
MIG’s collaboration with OneBlood felt like a perfect match. MIG-sters learned that each blood donation saves three lives and on average, 2,500 blood donations are needed to meet the needs of patients in our hospitals. We had fun bonding as a team while being stewards of our local and global community. In return, MIG-sters that donated received wellness checkups and screenings. OneBlood also treated donors to goodies as a token of their appreciation of the time and effort that the team at MIG dedicated to this labor of love. Kaylie Clawson, a fellow MIG-ster and Chairperson of our OneBlood Drive sums it up perfectly, “We are proud to do our part to help the community in little ways that can make a big difference.” For additional information on OneBlood and hosting a blood drive, visit their website packed with helpful resources.

]]>Proudly, our MIG team walked with our community at Sunset Cove Amphitheater in Boca Raton on November 19th. Walking through the darkness, holding lights that guided us – we felt honored to be among cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers. We were inspired by the resilience that was all around us.
Our MIG team members raised funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma’s Light The Night Walk. We were drawn to this cause because of a personal connection through one of our team members. We wanted to participate in funding and supporting research to find cures and access to treatments for all blood cancer patients. Our MIG team had an opportunity to show our spirit and walked the two miles, bonding outside of the office, and raising awareness and funds to support the mission. After the Walk, there was a celebration of hope with other participants with music, dancing, entertainment, and delicious tacos! MIG raised a total of $350 that will fund research of blood cancer treatments, with the hope of saving lives. It was a great night. We felt joy and purpose, and the participants around us offered smiles and great appreciation for our support. As a team, we were proud to be able to do our part to further the mission and keep moving swiftly towards finding a cure.
What causes matter to you? We want to know. Please follow and respond to our blog and let us know your thoughts.

]]>Multi Image Group recently reached out to Lotus House (an organization dedicated to improving the lives of homeless women, youth, and children by providing sanctuary, support, education, tools, and resources that empower them to heal, learn, grow, and blossom into who they are truly meant to be). We asked if there was some way we could help. Their answer surprised us.
Since MIG is constantly on the road due to the nature of the event production industry, our crew frequently checks in and out of many hotels all over the world. Naturally, the crew ends up coming home with an acquired collection of travel-sized shampoos, conditioners, and soaps. After noticing an internal trend of these “hotel toiletries” stashes, we put our heads together to find a local charity that was the perfect fit & met MIG’s intentions to help those in need. Well, it turns out that Lotus House graciously collects these items to help the women and youth to stay fresh and stretch their dollars a little further.
So, MIG put the word out to all its road warriors and started collecting these toiletries in a donation bin in one of our amazing volunteer’s office. We recently dropped off our first two boxes brimming with lovely smelling items to Lotus House and the empty boxes are already starting get filled again for the next drop-off.
It’s a small gesture, but it can have a meaningful impact. Multi Image Group is looking for more and more ways to get involved in our community . . . If you have any ideas, please let us know! ]]>The Rotary Club Downtown Boca Raton acknowledged “National Doctors Day” by honoring doctors at the 18th annual “Honor Your Doctor” Luncheon, which took place at the Boca West Country Club, Thursday, March 31st.
As part of our commitment to corporate social responsibility and our desire to make a positive impact on the community in which we work and reside, Multi Image Group donated our gear and production services to the Rotary Club, an organization we’re proud to say we’ve been involved with for many years.
We believe in giving back to our community in ways that help create a stronger, healthier place for our customers and employees to work and live.Robert Sclafani, MIG Owner

This particular event serves as a fundraiser for the Lisa Boccard Breast Cancer Fund, a locally-based charity that help women get mammogram screenings who wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford such care. I try to consistently run at least one-half marathon every year, with the lifetime goal of completing an Iron Man as a way to keep me out of my comfort zone.
This is my second year participating in this race and it was one of my most memorable runs. Prior to being a sick a week before race day, I was determined to see it through and beat my last years time of 3 hours and 50 minutes. All of the runners who participated had such a contagious, high-energy about them that I was able to keep a 11-12 minute pace and even cheer participants during my run!
Running for me has always been therapeutic as well as a bonding experience with fellow runners and volunteers. It’s always thrilling to watch the mile trackers pass you by and hearing cheers from local police men
Running is my way to stay in shape especially have putting in hours on the road and indulging in room service, but more importantly its an engaging way for me continue my contributions to charity that offers support to local women in my area who are struggling with breast cancer.
