MIG succeeds by providing media and motion graphics that enhance the Mary Kay theme and palette and by constructing environments that give #MKSeminar the energy and scale it needs to fill the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center and still remain intimate, heartfelt, and on-brand.... just like Mary Kay Ash dreamed of 60 years ago!

Primerica International Convention at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium


Who is Primerica?

Primerica is an independent financial services organization that provides first-class financial education and income opportunities to thousands across North America.

Primerica offers term life insurance, investment options, and other financial products to help their customers work toward financial security. Primerica regularly holds conferences and events for corporate employees and Independent Sales Representatives, including the Primerica International Convention that’s held every other year. In 2022, Multi Image Group had the opportunity to produce the convention in Atlanta, Georgia.

Primerica + MIG Partnership


A strong partnership that began in 1996, this event required a whole lot of manpower, gear, and equipment, and an awful lot of MIG talent! For the second time, this biennial convention took place at the state-of-the-art Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. This event was an incredible opportunity for Primerica’s 35,000+ attendees to witness something they’ve never seen before.

Scenic Design + Staging Elements

For MIG, it was essential to design a multifaceted and dimensional scenic that could hold its own in such a dynamic venue. We’re talking a dimensional scenic that held its own in an incredibly dynamic venue. A team of 50+ skilled show crew members, including audio engineers, lighting technicians, scenic carpenters, and digital scenic designers. And a polished and sophisticated stage that fit the scale of the convention, while giving its presenters and attendees a bold and memorable palette for bedazzled recognition moments and high-impact presentations.

The four-day, 35,000-person+ biennial attended the event that centered around the theme “Decade of Dominance” was the largest corporate convention to return to Atlanta since the pandemic.  Current plans for the Primerica International Convention are to return to Atlanta in 2024. MIG can’t wait. Overall, the scenic design played an essential role in the natural flow of the event.

The stage environment seamlessly serves many purposes. It’s a massive LED canvas for high-impact imagery to amp up emotion and clarify key messages. It’s a focal point for top executives to speak directly and personally to this large audience. It’s a platform for parades that celebrate high achievers who’ve worked hard all year to earn this recognition. It’s an enormous stage for large-scale production numbers needed to entertain and energize.  And throughout all this, it must continually transform – in real time – to reflect the topic, the product, the speaker, the moment.

For MIG, it was essential to design a multifaceted and dimensional scenic that could hold its own in such a dynamic venue. On the show site, MIG provided Primerica with a team of 50+ skilled show crew members, including audio engineers, lighting technicians, scenic carpenters, and digital scenic designers. One of the most important benefits of working with MIG’s in-house staff is having a team that is already familiar with communicating and collaborating on shows together previously. MIG worked with Primerica to come up with a stage that fits the scale of this convention for presenters and attendees. The primary objective in the development process was to give Primerica a bold and memorable palette for presentations and graphics, while maintaining a polished and sophisticated look. Overall, the scenic design played an essential role in the natural flow of the event.

Multi Image Group (MIG), an internationally recognized South Florida creative communications agency, wants to congratulate their client, DealerSocket (the creators of the automotive industry’s most comprehensive informational technology solutions) for winning the Best Small Island Booth Award for the 2015 National Automobile Dealers Association Convention & Expo held this year at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California.

DealerSocket’s booth integrated innovative touchscreen and experiential technology (designed and created by MIG) that attracted attendees and kept them engaged once they began to interact and enjoy their touchscreen experiences at the booth. DealerSocket Director of Marketing, Brandon Piersant, commented that the booth was consistently at high capacity and that there were no low points throughout the event.

The NADA Convention & Expo attracts as many as 23,000 attendees and over 5,500 exhibitors, so the challenge to get noticed is incredibly competitive. Jeff Poe, Creative Director for MIG who specializes in tradeshows and live events, knew he and MIG’s creative and technical teams had to come up with some true attention-grabbing solutions.

“The Moscone Center is huge,” said Jeff Poe. “We wanted to make DealerSocket a focal point from nearly anywhere in the convention center, so we put some large screens high into the air with enticing messages. Once we got their attention and drew them into the booth, we then involved them with some fun interactive displays that showcased DealerSocket’s wide range of products and services.”
